AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, regulating vehicles being towed to inspection
3 stations.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 4703(b)(4) of Title 75 of the
7 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 4703. Operation of vehicle without official certificate of
9 inspection.

11 (b) Exceptions.--Subsection (a) does not apply to:

13 (4) Motor vehicles being operated or trailers being
14 towed by an official inspection station owner or employee for
15 the purpose of inspection; or a motor vehicle being operated
16 or trailer being towed by the vehicle owner while enroute to
1 an inspection station where an appointment for inspection has
2 been scheduled.

4 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
