AN ACT
1 Extending the deadline for filing for a permit for disposal of
2 municipal or construction/demolition wastes.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Permit application filing deadline.
6 Notwithstanding any other law or regulation to the contrary,
7 a person or municipality, that was issued a permit for a
8 municipal waste landfill, or a construction/demolition waste
9 landfill, or a permit for an impoundment used for municipal
10 waste disposal prior to April 9, 1988, shall have until April 9,
11 1991 to file with the Department of Environmental Resources a
12 completed application for permit modification for a municipal
13 waste landfill, a construction/demolition waste landfill or an
14 impoundment.
15 Section 2. Effective date.
16 This act shall take effect immediately.
