                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Directing the Health and Welfare Committee to investigate the
     2     operation of the Rosalie G. Handler Center, Dauphin County.

     3     WHEREAS, Certain questions have arisen regarding the
     4  operation of the Rosalie G. Handler Center; therefore be it
     5     RESOLVED, That the Health and Welfare Committee is directed
     6  to investigate the operation of the Rosalie G. Handler Center,
     7  Dauphin County; and be it further
     8     RESOLVED, That the committee may hold hearings, take
     9  testimony and make its investigations at such places as it deems
    10  necessary in this Commonwealth. Each member of the committee
    11  shall have power to administer oaths and affirmations to
    12  witnesses appearing before the committee; and be it further
    13     RESOLVED, That the committee make a report of its findings
    14  and recommendations to the House as soon as practicable. The
    15  Handler Center shall continue the provision of all services to
    16  all of its clients during the period of this investigation.
