AN ACT
1 Prohibiting the exporting of petroleum products in certain
2 circumstances.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Prohibition.
6 It shall be unlawful to export from this Commonwealth to a
7 foreign country any petroleum product after the Governor has
8 issued an executive order declaring that such exportation would
9 not be in the best interests of this Commonwealth.
10 Section 2. Penalties.
11 A person who violates section 1 commits a misdemeanor of the
12 first degree and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a
13 fine of $10,000 for a first offense, $50,000 for a second
14 offense or $100,000 for a third or subsequent offense.
15 Section 3. Effective date.
16 This act shall take effect immediately.
