AN ACT 1 Making appropriations from a restricted revenue account within 2 the General Fund and from Federal augmentation funds to the 3 Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. 4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 5 hereby enacts as follows: 6 Section 1. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be 7 necessary, are specifically appropriated from the restricted 8 revenue account within the General Fund and from Federal 9 augmentation funds to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission 10 to provide for the operation of the commission for the fiscal 11 year July 1, 1990, to June 30, 1991, for the purposes and in the 12 amounts shown: 13 Federal State 14 (1) For the salaries, wages 15 and all necessary expenses for the 16 proper operation and administration 17 of the Pennsylvania Public Utility
1 Commission, excluding the chairman 2 and commissioners and the Bureau of 3 Safety and Enforcement. 4 State appropriation........ $26,492,000 <-- 5 STATE APPROPRIATION........ $26,252,000 <-- 6 (i) The following Federal 7 augmentation amounts, or as 8 much thereof as may be 9 necessary, are specifically 10 appropriated to supplement the 11 sum authorized to be billed to 12 utilities for the operation of 13 the commission: 14 (A) "Natural Gas 15 Pipeline Safety" - To 16 enforce the regulations of 17 the Natural Gas Pipeline 18 Safety Act. 19 Federal appropriation...... 115,000 20 Any Federal funds which the 21 Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission 22 receives pursuant to these 23 appropriations shall not be credited 24 to any utility nor used to lower the 25 annual assessment of any utility. 26 For the salaries, wages and all 27 necessary expenses for the chairman 28 and the commissioners. 29 State appropriation........ 501,000 <-- 30 STATE APPROPRIATION........ 411,000 <-- 19900H2312B3684 - 2 -
