                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for the delegation of
     3     departmental authority to issue permits.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 4961(c) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     8  § 4961.  Authority to issue permits.
     9     * * *
    10     (c)  County offices for issuing permits.--The department
    11  shall empower an authorized representative or employee [in each
    12  county] to issue permits as provided in subsection (a) and
    13  [shall] may provide a place [within each county] where the
    14  permits may be issued.
    15     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
