AN ACT
1 Appropriating and transferring amounts from the State Workmen's
2 Insurance Fund to the Treasury Department.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be
6 necessary, are hereby appropriated from the State Workmen's
7 Insurance Fund for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1988 1989: <--
8 (1) The sum of $25,000,000 is appropriated to the
9 Treasury Department for transfer to the Sunny Day Fund.
10 (2) The sum of $25,000,000 is appropriated to the
11 Treasury Department for transfer to the Tax Stabilization
12 Reserve Fund.
13 (3) The sum of $25,000,000 is appropriated to the
14 Treasury Department for transfer to the General Fund.
15 Section 2. No funds required to meet specific statutory
16 obligations under the act of June 2, 1915 (P.L.762, No.340),
17 referred to as the State Workmen's Insurance Fund Law, shall be
1 transferred under section 1 in any fiscal year.
2 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1989, or
3 immediately, whichever is later.
