Effective date. 8 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 9 hereby enacts as follows: 10 PART I 11 GENERAL PROVISIONS 12 Section 101. Appropriations.--(a) Motor License Fund.--The 13 following sums, or as much thereof as may be necessary, are 14 hereby appropriated from the Motor License Fund to the 15 hereinafter named agencies of the Commonwealth for the payment 16 of salaries, wages and other compensation and travel expenses of 17 the duly elected or appointed officers and employees of the 18 Commonwealth, for contractual services and other expenses 19 necessary for the proper conduct of the duties, functions and 20 activities for the purposes hereinafter set forth for the fiscal 21 year beginning July 1, 1989, and for the payment of bills 22 incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year 23 ending June 30, 1989. 24 (b) Aviation Restricted Revenue Account.--The following 25 sums, or as much thereof as may be necessary, are hereby 26 appropriated from the Aviation Restricted Revenue Account in the 27 Motor License Fund to the hereinafter named agencies of the 28 Commonwealth for the purposes set forth herein for the fiscal 29 year beginning July 1, 1989, and for the payment of bills 30 incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year 19890H1517B2225 - 2 -

Lapsing of unused funds.--(a) Except as 24 otherwise provided by law or in subsection (b), that part of all 25 appropriations in Part II unexpended, uncommitted or 26 unencumbered as of June 30, 1990, shall automatically lapse as 27 of that date. 28 (b) The appropriations in section 221 of Part II for airport 29 development, runway rehabilitation, business airport grants and 30 real estate tax rebate payments shall be two-year continuing 19890H1517B2225 - 11 -
