AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Carnegie Museum of Natural
2 History for maintenance and the purchase of apparatus,
3 supplies and equipment.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $190,000 is hereby appropriated to the
7 Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Pittsburgh, for the fiscal
8 year July 1, 1989, to June 30, 1990, for maintenance and the
9 purchase of apparatus, supplies and equipment.
10 Section 2. Payments to the Carnegie Museum of Natural
11 History on account of the appropriation provided in section 1
12 shall be made quarterly by the Executive Director of the
13 Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
14 Section 3. The Carnegie Museum shall provide such
15 information as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of
16 this act and in such form and manner as the Pennsylvania
17 Historical and Museum Commission shall prescribe.
18 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 1989, or
1 immediately, whichever is later.
