AN ACT
1 Making appropriations to the Downingtown Industrial and
2 Agricultural School, Downingtown.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $906,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Downingtown Industrial and Agricultural School, Downingtown, for
7 the fiscal year July 1, 1989, to June 30, 1990, for operation
8 and maintenance of the school.
9 Section 2. The sum of $81,000 is hereby appropriated to the
10 Downingtown Industrial and Agricultural School for payment of
11 debts incurred prior to July 1, 1984.
12 Section 3. The sum of $54,000 is hereby appropriated to the
13 Downingtown Industrial and Agricultural School for special
14 projects.
15 Section 4. Payments to the Downingtown Industrial and
16 Agricultural School on account of the appropriation provided in
17 section 1 shall be made by the Secretary of Education in equal
1 quarterly payments.
2 Section 5. The Downingtown Industrial and Agricultural
3 School shall provide such information as may be necessary to
4 carry out the provisions of this act and in such form and manner
5 as the Department of Education shall prescribe.
6 Section 6. This act shall take effect July 1, 1989, or
7 immediately, whichever is later.
