AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Philadelphia College of Textiles
2 and Science.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $522,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science for the fiscal year
7 July 1, 1989, to June 30, 1990, for instruction and student aid.
8 Section 2. Payments to the Philadelphia College of Textiles
9 and Science on account of the appropriation provided in section
10 1 shall be made by the Secretary of Education in equal quarterly
11 payments.
12 Section 3. The Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science
13 shall provide such information as may be necessary to carry out
14 the provisions of this act and in such form and manner as the
15 Department of Education shall prescribe.
16 Section 4. The Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science
17 shall report its revenues and expenditures and present its
1 financial statements in accordance with generally accepted
2 accounting principles and procedures for educational
3 institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education Finance
4 Manual (1975)" and the "Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Budget
5 Instructions for the State System of Higher Education, State-
6 Related Universities and Non-State-Related Colleges and
7 Universities."
8 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1989, or
9 immediately, whichever is later.
