AS AMENDED ON SECOND CONSIDERATION, APRIL 6, 1987
AN ACT
1 Amending the act of May 1, 1933 (P.L.103, No.69), entitled "An
2 act concerning townships of the second class; and amending,
3 revising, consolidating, and changing the law relating
4 thereto," further providing for expenses of delegates who
5 attend the State association annual meeting.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 612 of the act of May 1, 1933 (P.L.103,
9 No.69), known as The Second Class Township Code, reenacted and
10 amended July 10, 1947 (P.L.1481, No.567) and amended April 18,
11 1985 (P.L.11, No.5), is amended to read:
12 Section 612. Expenses and Mileage.--The expenses allowed the
13 delegates attending the annual meeting may be [in an amount not
14 exceeding ninety dollars per day] the actual expenses incurred
15 for lodging plus twenty-five dollars for meals, gratuities and
16 other expenses for each delegate for EACH OF not more than four <--
17 days including the time employed in traveling thereto and
18 therefrom, together with mileage going to and returning from
19 such meeting. In addition, the registration or similar fee
1 incurred in connection with attending the annual meeting shall
2 be an allowable expense.
3 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
