AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for voter registration cards on license
3 applications, renewals and change of address forms.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 1521. Voter registration forms.
9 The department shall assist with the facilitation of voter
10 registration in this Commonwealth by changing its applications
11 for an original, duplicate, renewal or change of address
12 driver's license so that the forms also serve as voter
13 registration cards. The forms shall contain spaces in which
14 applicants can provide information required for voter
15 registration by the Department of State. A copy of each
16 application which contains completed voter registration
17 information shall be forwarded to the voters' registration
1 office of the county of residence of the applicant and to the
2 Department of State.
3 Section 2. This act shall take effect September 1, 1989.
