AN ACT
1 Amending Title 15 (Corporations and Unincorporated Associations)
2 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, restricting the
3 use of certain corporate names.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 7313(c) of Title 15 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
8 § 7313. Corporate name.

10 (c) Required approvals or conditions.--

12 (4) The corporate name shall not contain the words
13 "Pennsylvania Agricultural Fair" or "Pennsylvania State Fair"
14 or any other words implying that the corporation is
15 officially sponsored or sanctioned by the Commonwealth,
16 unless approved by the Department of Agriculture. Any
17 existing corporation lawfully using such words as its name,
1 or as part of its name, may continue to use such name, or
2 words as part of its name, provided the corporation shall
3 hereafter, whenever using or displaying its name, use a
4 corporate designator such as "corporation," "incorporated" or
5 "limited" or any abbreviation thereof.
