AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation from the State Employees' Retirement
2 Fund to provide for expenses of the State Employees'
3 Retirement Board for the fiscal year July 1, 1988, to June
4 30, 1989, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining
5 unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1988.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. The sum of $5,636,000 $6,031,000, or as much <--
9 thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the
10 State Employees' Retirement Fund to the State Employees'
11 Retirement Board for the payment of all salaries, wages and
12 other compensation and travel expenses of the employees and
13 members of the State Employees' Retirement Board, for
14 contractual services and other expenses necessary for the proper
15 conduct of the duties, functions and activities of the board for
16 the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1988, and for the payment of
17 bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal
18 year ending June 30, 1988. OF THE SUM, NOT MORE THAN $395,000 <--
1 SHALL BE EXPENDED TO OPEN AND OPERATE FIELD COUNSELING SITES IN
2 PITTSBURGH AND NORTH EAST, PENNSYLVANIA.
3 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1988, or
4 immediately, whichever is later.
