AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the imposition of limitations
3 on the Pennsylvania Game Commission's powers relating to the
4 use of lead shot for waterfowl.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Title 34 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
9 § 2314. Lead shot for waterfowl.
10 Notwithstanding any provision of law or any regulation, the
11 power of the commission to regulate or prohibit the use of lead
12 shot for waterfowl shall, unless otherwise directed by the
13 United States Fish and Wildlife Service, be the least
14 restrictive or intrusive action permitted by Federal law.
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
