AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the revocation of operating
3 privilege for violations relating to homicide by vehicle
4 while under the influence.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 1532(a)(2) of Title 75 of the
8 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is repealed.
9 Section 2. Section 1532 of Title 75 is amended by adding a
10 subsection to read:
11 § 1532. Revocation or suspension of operating privilege.

13 (a.1) Revocation for more than one year.--The department
14 shall revoke the operating privilege of any driver for five
15 years upon receiving a certified record of the driver's
16 conviction of any violation of section 3735 (relating to
17 homicide by vehicle while driving under influence).

1 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
