AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Afro-American Historical and
2 Cultural Museum for operating expenses.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $159,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Afro-American Historical and Cultural Museum, Philadelphia,
7 Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1, 1987, to June 30,
8 1988, for operating expenses, including maintenance and the
9 purchase of apparatus, supplies and equipment.
10 Section 2. Payments to the Afro-American Historical and
11 Cultural Museum on account of the appropriation provided in
12 section 1 shall be made quarterly by the Executive Director of
13 the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
14 Section 3. The Afro-American Historical and Cultural Museum
15 shall provide such information as may be necessary to carry out
16 the provisions of this act and in such form and manner as the
17 Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission shall prescribe.
1 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 1987, or
2 immediately, whichever is later.
