AN ACT
1 Making appropriations to the Trustees of the Berean Training and
2 Industrial School at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. (a) The sum of $759,000 $859,000 is hereby <--
6 appropriated to the Trustees of the Berean Training and
7 Industrial School at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the fiscal
8 year July 1, 1987, to June 30, 1988, for operation and
9 maintenance of the school.
10 (b) The sum of $102,000 is hereby appropriated to the
11 Trustees of the Berean Training and Industrial School,
12 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1, 1987, to
13 June 30, 1988, for payment of debt services to the Commonwealth.
14 Section 2. Payments to the Berean Training and Industrial
15 School on account of the appropriation in section 1(a) shall be
16 made by the Secretary of Education in equal quarterly payments.
1 Section 3. The Berean Training and Industrial School shall
2 provide such information as may be necessary to carry out the
3 provisions of this act and in such form and manner as the
4 Department of Education shall prescribe.
5 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 1987, or
6 immediately, whichever is later.
