AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Delaware Valley College of
2 Science and Agriculture at Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $375,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture at
7 Doylestown, Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1, 1987, to
8 June 30, 1988, for instruction and student aid.
9 Section 2. Payments to the Delaware Valley College of
10 Science and Agriculture on account of the appropriation provided
11 in section 1 shall be made by the Secretary of Education in
12 equal quarterly payments.
13 Section 3. The Delaware Valley College of Science and
14 Agriculture shall provide such information as may be necessary
15 to carry out the provisions of this act and in such form and
16 manner as the Department of Education shall prescribe.
17 Section 4. The Delaware Valley College of Science and
1 Agriculture shall report its revenues and expenditures and
2 present its financial statements in accordance with generally
3 accepted accounting principles and procedures for educational
4 institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education Finance
5 Manual (1980)" and the "Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Budget
6 Instructions for the State System of Higher Education, State
7 Related Universities and Non State Related Colleges and
8 Universities."
9 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1987, or
10 immediately, whichever is later.
