AS AMENDED ON THIRD CONSIDERATION, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, MAY 12, 1987
AN ACT 1 Making appropriations from the Professional Licensure 2 Augmentation Account and from restricted revenue accounts 3 within the General Fund to the Department of State for use by 4 the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs in 5 support of the professional licensure boards assigned 6 thereto. 7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 8 hereby enacts as follows: 9 Section 1. The sum of $8,968,000 $9,408,000, or as much <-- 10 thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the 11 Professional Licensure Augmentation Account within the General 12 Fund to the Department of State for the operation of the Bureau 13 of Professional and Occupational Affairs for the fiscal year 14 July 1, 1987, to June 30, 1988. 15 Section 2. (a) The sum of $1,243,000 $1,471,000, or as much <-- 16 thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the 17 restricted receipts account of the State Board of Medicine, as 18 authorized by section 907(a) of the act of act of October 15, 19 1975 (P.L.390, No.111), known as the Health Care Services
1 Malpractice Act, for the operation of said board for the fiscal 2 year July 1, 1987, to June 30, 1988. 3 (b) The sum of $238,000 $268,000, or as much thereof as may <-- 4 be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the restricted 5 receipts account of the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine, as 6 authorized by section 907(b) of the Health Care Services 7 Malpractice Act, for the operation of said board for the fiscal 8 year July 1, 1987, to June 30, 1988. 9 (c) The sum of $86,000 $107,000, or as much thereof as may <-- 10 be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the restricted 11 receipts account of the State Board of Podiatry, as authorized 12 by section 907(c) of the Health Care Services Malpractice Act, 13 for the operation of said board for the fiscal year July 1, 14 1987, to June 30, 1988. 15 (d) Each appropriation listed in subsections (a), (b) and 16 (c) shall not be treated as an augmentation to the Department of 17 State, general government appropriation, or any other 18 appropriation, but shall be treated and accounted for as 19 separate appropriations respectively. 20 Section 3.
