                                     AN ACT

     1  Requiring motor vehicle service stations to have full-service
     2     lines available for certain persons in cities of the first
     3     class; and providing for a penalty.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6  Section 1.  Full-service line.
     7     Every retail service station in cities of the first class
     8  having two or more pumps shall make available to the public a
     9  full-service line to accommodate the handicapped and persons who
    10  cannot service their vehicle. The full-service line shall be
    11  available for public use at all times when the station is open
    12  for business. Should any pump in the full-service line become
    13  inoperable, the dealer shall exercise due diligence to repair or
    14  replace the pump.
    15  Section 2.  Penalty.
    16     A retail service station dealer who violates this act commits
    17  a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to
    18  pay a fine not exceeding $300.

     1  Section 3.  Effective date.
     2     This act shall take effect in 60 days.
