A RESOLUTION
1 Designating the week of June 16, 1986, as "Amateur Radio Week."
2 WHEREAS, Amateur radio leagues across this Commonwealth
3 maintain an active technical service, provide communication
4 service during emergencies, coordinate an extensive field
5 organization and represent amateur radio operators with the
6 Federal Communications Commission and other national and
7 international bodies; therefore be it
8 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate the
9 week of June 16, 1986, as "Amateur Radio Week" and bestow
10 appropriate appreciation and congratulations to amateur radio
11 operators and leagues across this Commonwealth for their years
12 of dedication to this valuable avocation.
