A RESOLUTION
1 Congratulating the Shikellamy High School Varsity Wrestling Team
2 for capturing the PIAA Class AAA State Wrestling Championship
3 Title.
4 WHEREAS, The Shikellamy High School Varsity Wrestling Team
5 captured the PIAA Class AAA State Championship Title, bringing
6 distinction and honor to themselves, the Shikellamy High School
7 and our Commonwealth; and
8 WHEREAS, During the season, the Shikellamy High School
9 Varsity Wrestling Team compiled an outstanding record of 18 wins
10 and 0 losses with a 49 match winning streak in dual meets; and
11 WHEREAS, Each member of the Shikellamy High School Varsity
12 Wrestling Team has displayed exemplary qualities of courage,
13 leadership and character; and
14 WHEREAS, Those qualities are a tribute to the teaching of
15 Coach Phillip Lockcuff who skillfully guided team members Robert
16 Supsic, Chris Rose, John Supsic, Tony Reed, Paul Gemberling, Dan
17 Bottiger, John Gemberling and Joe Burke; therefore be it
18 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the
1 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania congratulate and honor the
2 Shikellamy High School Varsity Wrestling Team and their coach,
3 Phillip Lockcuff, upon winning the PIAA Class AAA State
4 Wrestling Championship Title and express its admiration and
5 respect, extending best wishes for continued success in future
6 seasons; and be it further
7 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
8 the Shikellamy Varsity Wrestling Team, 6th and Walnut Streets,
9 Sunbury, Pennsylvania, 17801.
