AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Philadelphia College of
2 Performing Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $124,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, Philadelphia,
7 Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1, 1986, to June 30,
8 1987, for maintenance, general operation of the college and
9 student aid.
10 Section 2. Payments to the Philadelphia College of
11 Performing Arts shall be made by the Secretary of Education in
12 equal quarterly payments.
13 Section 3. The Philadelphia College of Performing Arts shall
14 provide such information as may be necessary to carry out the
15 provisions of this act and in such form and manner as the
16 Department of Education shall prescribe.
17 Section 4. The Philadelphia College of Performing Arts shall
1 present its financial statements and report in accordance with
2 generally accepted accounting procedures as presented in the
3 "Higher Education Financial Manual of 1975," without exception.
4 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1986, or
5 immediately, whichever is later.
