                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for exemptions from the maximum
     3     axle weight of certain vehicles.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 4943(b) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
     8  § 4943.  Maximum axle weight of vehicles.

    10     (b)  Exceptions and special applications.--
    11         * * *
    12         (6)  Any vehicle or combination carrying trash shall be
    13     exempt from this section.
    14     * * *
    15     Section 2.  The provisions of 75 Pa.C.S. § 4943(b)(6) shall
    16  expire one year from the effective date of this act.
    17     Section 3.  This act shall take effect immediately.
