AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the suspension of operator's
3 license for property damage vandalism.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1532(b) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
8 § 1532. Revocation or suspension of operating privilege.

10 (b) Suspension.--

12 (2.1) The department shall suspend the operating
13 privilege of any driver for 90 days upon receiving a
14 certified record of the driver's conviction of:
15 Section 3716 (relating to motor vehicle vandalism).
16 18 Pa.C.S. § 3304 (relating to criminal mischief)
17 involving the use of a motor vehicle.

1 Section 2. Title 75 is amended by adding a section to read:
2 § 3716. Motor vehicle vandalism.
3 (a) General rule.--It is unlawful for any person to
4 intentionally or recklessly destroy or inflict damage to the
5 personal property or real property of another person by means of
6 a motor vehicle.
7 (b) Penalty.--A violation of this section is a summary
8 offense. In addition to any fine or imprisonment, the person
9 convicted shall be required to make restitution for the value of
10 the property damaged or destroyed.
11 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
