AN ACT 1 Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services and 2 the Department of Agriculture with the approval of the 3 Governor to convey to Lifecare Associates, Inc., a tract of 4 land and the buildings erected thereon in Penn Township, 5 Snyder County. 6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 7 hereby enacts as follows: 8 Section 1. The Department of General Services and the 9 Department of Agriculture, with the approval of the Governor, 10 are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the Commonwealth 11 of Pennsylvania, to grant and convey for a consideration equal 12 to the fair market value as determined by an independent 13 appraiser selected by the Department of General Services to 14 Lifecare Associates, Inc., the following described tract of land 15 and the buildings erected thereon: 16 All that certain piece or parcel of land situate in Penn 17 Township, Snyder County, Pennsylvania, more particularly bounded 18 and described as follows, to wit: 19 Beginning at a spike in the centerline of L.R. 54068 at the
1 southwest corner of the described tract of land, said spike 2 being 4,083.00 feet along the centerline of L.R. 54068 from the 3 centerline intersection with L.R. 54042, also being north 01 4 degree 59 minutes west, a distance of 62.90 feet from the 5 northeast corner of Well House No. 6; thence along lands of the 6 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, north 15 degrees 14 minutes west, 7 a distance of 345.82 feet to an iron pin; thence along the same, 8 north 42 degrees 02 minutes west, a distance of 130.49 feet to 9 an iron pin; thence along the same, north 32 degrees 18 minutes 10 west, a distance of 105.06 feet to an iron pin; thence along the 11 same, north 81 degrees 18 minutes east, a distance of 482.38 12 feet to an iron pin; thence along the same south 01 degree 02 13 minutes west, a distance of 220.35 feet to an iron pin; thence 14 along the same south 66 degrees 22 minutes east, a distance of 15 155.90 feet to an iron pin; thence along the same south 45 16 degrees 45 minutes east, a distance of 247.34 feet to a spike in 17 the centerline of L.R. 54068; thence along the centerline of 18 L.R. 54068 on a curve to the left with a radius of 572.96 feet, 19 arc distance of 100.13 feet and a chord bearing and distance of 20 south 86 degrees 41 minutes west, a distance of 100.06 feet to a 21 spike in the centerline of L.R. 54068; thence along the same on 22 a curve to the left with a radius of 1,637.02 feet, arc distance 23 of 478.68 feet and a chord bearing and distance of south 74 24 degrees and 02 minutes west, a distance of 476.98 feet to the 25 point of beginning. 26 Containing 5.21 acres, including .22 acre road right-of-way. 27 Section 2. The conveyance shall be made under and subject to 28 all easements, servitudes and rights of others, including, but 29 not confined to, streets, roadways, and rights of any telephone, 30 telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as 19840H2427B3481 - 2 -
1 well as under and subject to any interest, estates or tenancies 2 vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for 3 any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon. 4 Section 3. The deed of conveyance shall be approved as 5 provided by law and shall be executed by the Secretary of 6 General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of 7 Pennsylvania. 8 Section 4.
