AN ACT
1 Amending Title 66 (Public Utilities) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for off-peak energy charges.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Title 66 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
6 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
7 § 1317. Commission to establish tariff for off-peak energy
8 charges.
9 The commission shall establish a tariff for those electric
10 utilities providing residential time of day service so that the
11 off-peak energy charge per kilowatt hour is charged for single
12 phase service at secondary voltage to individual residential
13 dwelling units where the only occupant thereof works during the
14 off-peak hours and does not have the opportunity to avail
15 himself of the lower off-peak energy charges.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 90 days.
