AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation APPROPRIATIONS from a restricted revenue <--
2 account within the General Fund to the Department of State
3 for use by the Bureau of Professional and Occupational
4 Affairs.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. (A) The sum of $8,460,000 $7,935,000, or as much <--
8 thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the
9 Professional Licensure Augmentation Restricted Revenue Account
10 within the General Fund to the Department of State to augment
11 the general government appropriation for the operation of the
12 Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs for the fiscal
13 year July 1, 1984 to June 30, 1985.
14 (B) THE SUM OF $525,000, OR AS MUCH THEREOF AS MAY BE <--
15 NECESSARY, IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED FROM THE PROFESSIONAL
16 LICENSURE AUGMENTATION RESTRICTED REVENUE ACCOUNT WITHIN THE
17 GENERAL FUND TO THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE TO AUGMENT THE GENERAL
18 GOVERNMENT APPROPRIATION FOR THE OPERATION OF THE STATE
1 REGISTRATION BOARD OF PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
2 JULY 1, 1984 TO JUNE 30, 1985. FUNDS FROM THIS APPROPRIATION MAY
3 BE USED TO FUND TEST SITES, TRAVEL EXPENSES, CONSULTANT FEES AND
4 NEWSLETTER EXPENSES AT THE DISCRETION OF THE STATE REGISTRATION
5 BOARD FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS.
6 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1984 or, if
7 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
