AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to Thomas Jefferson University of
2 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the Children's Heart Hospital,
3 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $1,238,000 is hereby appropriated to
7 Thomas Jefferson University of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for
8 the Children's Heart Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for
9 the fiscal year July 1, 1984 to June 30, 1985 in accordance with
10 procedures developed by the Secretary of Public Welfare. Payment
11 of this appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of Public
12 Welfare in equal quarterly payments.
13 Section 2. Thomas Jefferson University shall provide such
14 information as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of
15 this act and in such form and manner as the Department of Public
16 Welfare shall prescribe.
17 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1984 or, if
18 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
