AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Trustees of the University of
2 Pennsylvania for the general maintenance and operation of the
3 University of Pennsylvania Museum.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $159,000 is hereby appropriated to the
7 Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year
8 July 1, 1984 to June 30, 1985 for the general maintenance of the
9 University of Pennsylvania Museum and the purchase of such
10 apparatus and equipment as the trustees may deem necessary for
11 the best interest of the University of Pennsylvania Museum.
12 Section 2. Payments to the University of Pennsylvania Museum
13 on account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be
14 made quarterly by the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania
15 Historical and Museum Commission.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1984 or, if
17 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
