AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Trustees of the University of
2 Pennsylvania for cardiovascular studies.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $62,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania for the fiscal year
7 July 1, 1984 to June 30, 1985 for cardiovascular studies.
8 Payment of this appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of
9 Health in equal quarterly payments.
10 Section 2. The University of Pennsylvania shall provide such
11 information as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of
12 this act and in such form and manner as the Department of Health
13 shall prescribe.
14 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1984 or, if
15 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
