AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Fox Chase Institute for Cancer
2 Research, Philadelphia, for the operation and maintenance of
3 the cancer research program.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $435,000 is hereby appropriated to the
7 Fox Chase Institute for Cancer Research, Philadelphia, for the
8 fiscal year July 1, 1984 to June 30, 1985 for the operation and
9 maintenance of the cancer research program. Payment of this
10 appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of Health in equal
11 quarterly payments.
12 Section 2. The Fox Chase Institute for Cancer Research shall
13 provide such information as may be necessary to carry out the
14 provisions of this act and in such form and manner as the
15 Department of Health shall prescribe.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1984 or, if
17 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
