AS RE-REPORTED FROM COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS, HOUSE OF
REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, FEBRUARY 14, 1984
AN ACT
1 Designating the entire portion of Interstate Route 81 in
2 Pennsylvania as the American Legion Memorial Highway; <--
3 REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ERECT SIGNS
4 DESIGNATING FORT INDIANTOWN GAP NATIONAL CEMETERY; AND MAKING
5 AN APPROPRIATION.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. The entire portion of Interstate Route 81 situate
9 in Pennsylvania shall hereafter be known as the American Legion
10 Memorial Highway.
11 SECTION 2. THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SHALL ERECT <--
12 APPROPRIATE SIGNS ON INTERSTATE ROUTE 81 INDICATING FORT
13 INDIANTOWN GAP NATIONAL CEMETERY.
14 Section 2 3. The Department of Transportation shall erect <--
15 the appropriate signs to indicate this highway designation to
16 the motoring public.
17 SECTION 4. THE SUM OF $8,000 IS APPROPRIATED TO THE <--
18 DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF
1 SECTION 2 OF THIS ACT.
2 Section 3 5. This act shall take effect immediately. <--
