AS AMENDED ON SECOND CONSIDERATION, IN SENATE, JULY 19, 1983
AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Thomas Jefferson University for
2 the Children's Heart Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $940,000 $1,190,000 is hereby <--
6 appropriated to the Thomas Jefferson University for the
7 Children's Heart Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the
8 fiscal year July 1, 1983 to June 30, 1984 in accordance with
9 procedures developed by the Secretary of Public Welfare. Payment
10 of this appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of Public
11 Welfare in equal quarterly payments.
12 Section 2. The Thomas Jefferson University shall provide
13 such information as may be necessary to carry out the provisions
14 of this act and in such form and manner as the Department of
15 Public Welfare shall prescribe.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1983 or, if
17 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
