AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Lancaster Cleft Palate.
2 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
3 hereby enacts as follows:
4 Section 1. The sum of $50,000 is hereby appropriated to the
5 Lancaster Cleft Palate for the fiscal year July 1, 1983 to June
6 30, 1984, for outpatient and inpatient treatment AND FOR <--
7 PARTICIPATION BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE INSTITUTION, APPOINTED
8 BY THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER THEREOF, AS A MEMBER OF THE
9 PENNSYLVANIA ACADEMIC COMMISSION ON TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT, A
10 COMMISSION FOR INTER-INSTITUTIONAL COMMUNICATION REGARDING
11 TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT AND FOR DISSEMINATION
12 OF INFORMATION ON SUCH MATTERS TO THE PENNSYLVANIA BUSINESS
13 COMMUNITY AND OTHERS WHO MAY USE SUCH INFORMATION FOR NEW
14 BUSINESS AND JOB DEVELOPMENT IN PENNSYLVANIA, SUCH COMMISSION TO
15 BE COMPOSED OF REPRESENTATIVES OF EVERY STATE-OWNED OR STATE-
16 RELATED EDUCATIONAL OR SCIENTIFIC INSTITUTION RECEIVING GENERAL
1 FUND ASSISTANCE FROM THE COMMONWEALTH. Payment of this
2 appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of Health in equal
3 quarterly payments.
4 Section 2. Lancaster Cleft Palate shall provide such
5 information as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of
6 this act and in such form and manner as the Department of Health
7 shall prescribe.
8 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1983 or, if
9 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
