AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to St. Christopher's Hospital,
2 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $575,000 is hereby appropriated to St.
6 Christopher's Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the
7 fiscal year July 1, 1983 to June 30, 1984, for the outpatient
8 and inpatient treatment of severe physically disabling diseases
9 and general maintenance and operation of the hospital, PROVIDED <--
10 THAT THE HOSPITAL REMAINS AT THE SAME LOCATION THROUGHOUT THE
11 FISCAL YEAR AS IT OCCUPIED ON JULY 1, 1983. Payment of this
12 appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of Health in equal
13 quarterly payments. IF, DURING THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1983, TO <--
14 JUNE 30, 1984, THE HOSPITAL MOVES FROM THE LOCATION IT OCCUPIED
15 ON JULY 1, 1983, THE HOSPITAL SHALL REPAY TO THE COMMONWEALTH
16 ANY PART OF THIS APPROPRIATION RECEIVED DURING THAT FISCAL YEAR.
17 Section 2. St. Christopher's Hospital shall provide such
1 information as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of
2 this act and in such form and manner as the Department of Health
3 shall prescribe.
4 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1983 or, if
5 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
