AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric
2 Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $742,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia,
7 Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1, 1983 to June 30, 1984,
8 for instruction in the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine program.
9 Section 2. Payments to the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric
10 Medicine on account of the appropriation provided in section 1
11 shall be made quarterly by the Secretary of Education on the
12 basis of costs during the fiscal year.
13 Section 3. The Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine
14 shall provide such information and in such form and manner as
15 the Department of Education may prescribe.
16 Section 4. The Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine
17 shall report its revenues and expenditures and present its
1 financial statements in accordance with generally accepted
2 accounting principles and procedures for educational
3 institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education Finance
4 Manual of 1975," without exception.
5 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1983 or, if
6 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
