AN ACT
1 Mandating revocation of mercantile license issued by cities of <--
2 the first class ANY POLITICAL SUBDIVISION upon certain <--
3 convictions.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Revocation.
7 Any mercantile license issued by any city of the first class <--
8 POLITICAL SUBDIVISION shall be revoked by the proper issuing <--
9 authority upon conviction of the person who possesses the
10 license of any of the following offenses:
11 (1) any drug or controlled substance offense except for
12 the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or
13 controlled substances;
14 (2) any offense involving prostitution;
15 (3) any offense involving illegal gambling; or
16 (4) any other offense involving moral turpitude.
1 Section 2. Gravity of offense.
2 In order for any license to be revoked pursuant to section 1,
3 the offense shall have been a misdemeanor or a felony.
4 Section 3. Effective date.
5 This act shall take effect immediately.
