AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation from a restricted revenue account within
2 the General Fund to the Office of Consumer Advocate.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $2,095,000 is hereby specifically
6 appropriated from the restricted revenue account within the
7 General Fund to the Office of Consumer Advocate to provide for
8 the operation of that office for the fiscal year July 1, 1983 to
9 June 30, 1984.
10 Section 2. The provisions of section 904-A.1 of the act of <--
11 April 9, 1929 (P.L.177, No.175), known as The Administrative
12 Code of 1929, are superseded by this act for the fiscal year
13 July 1, 1983 to June 30, 1984.
14 SECTION 2. THE APPROPRIATION MADE IN SECTION 1 OF THIS ACT <--
15 SHALL CONSTITUTE THE FINAL ESTIMATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1,
16 1983 TO JUNE 30, 1984, REQUIRED BY SECTION 904-A.1(A) OF THE ACT
17 OF APRIL 9, 1929 (P.L.177, NO.175), KNOWN AS THE ADMINISTRATIVE
1 CODE OF 1929, AND THE TOTAL ASSESSMENT FOR THAT FISCAL YEAR FOR
2 THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 904-A.1(B) THROUGH (I) AND SHALL
3 SUPERSEDE ANY OTHER ESTIMATE PURSUANT TO SECTION 904-A.1(A) FOR
4 THAT FISCAL YEAR.
5 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
