AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Trustees of the University of
2 Pennsylvania for the general maintenance and operation of the
3 University of Pennsylvania Museum.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $150,000 is hereby appropriated to the
7 Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, for the fiscal
8 period July 1, 1982 to June 30, 1983 for the general maintenance
9 of the University of Pennsylvania Museum and the purchase of
10 such apparatus and equipment as the trustees may deem necessary
11 for the best interest of the University of Pennsylvania Museum.
12 Section 2. Payments to the University of Pennsylvania Museum
13 on account of the appropriation in section 1 shall be made
14 quarterly by the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania
15 Historical and Museum Commission.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
