                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
     2     Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for
     3     acts that may impose liability.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Subsection (b) of section 8542 of Title 42, act
     7  of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the
     8  Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, is amended by adding a
     9  paragraph to read:
    10  § 8542.  Exceptions to governmental immunity.

    12     (b)  Acts which may impose liability.--The following acts by
    13  a local agency or any of its employees may result in the
    14  imposition of liability on a local agency:
    15     * * *
    16         (9)  Lack of continued supervision.--A dangerous
    17     condition which results in injury which injury was caused by
    18     the lack of continued supervision or related instruction

     1     which related to the injury suffered.

     3     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
