AN ACT 1 Establishing fees for services of recorders of deeds in counties 2 of the second A, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and 3 eighth classes. 4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 5 hereby enacts as follows: 6 Section 1. The fees of the recorders of deeds in counties of 7 the second A, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth 8 classes shall be as follows: 9 Instrument Fee 10 up to 11 4 names and 12 4 pages 13 exclusive of notations 14 Adjudication, certified excerpt............... $11.50 15 Agreement..................................... 11.50 16 Articles of incorporation..................... 11.50 17 Amendments.................................... 11.50 18 Assignments................................... 11.50

All fees shall be exclusive of the State writ tax 24 and all fees on said tax shall be payable in advance. 25 Section 3. All deeds shall set forth the true consideration 26 or be accompanied by an original and a conformed copy of an 27 "Affidavit of Value." If an exception from taxation is claimed, 28 either full or partial, the deed must be accompanied by an 29 original and a conformed copy of an "Affidavit of Value" unless 30 noted in the deed. The "Affidavit of Value" shall be fully 19810S1251B1645 - 4 -
1 completed. Where the property is located in two or more taxing 2 authorities, the person recording the deed shall indicate 3 thereon the value of the property in each taxing authority for 4 local realty transfer tax purposes. 5 Section 4. (a) The act of August 21, 1953 (P.L.1254, 6 No.354), entitled, as amended, "An act establishing a uniform 7 fee for services of recorders of deeds in counties of the second 8 A, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth classes," is 9 repealed. 10 (b) All other acts and parts of acts are repealed insofar as 11 inconsistent with the provisions of this act. 12 Section 5.
