                                     AN ACT

     1  Establishing fees for services of recorders of deeds in counties
     2     of the second A, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and
     3     eighth classes.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  The fees of the recorders of deeds in counties of
     7  the second A, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth
     8  classes shall be as follows:

    20     Where no fee is specified the fee shall be set by the
    21  recorder of deeds.
    22     Section 2.  All fees shall be exclusive of the State writ tax
    23  and all fees on said tax shall be payable in advance.
    24     Section 3.  All deeds shall set forth the true consideration
    25  or be accompanied by an original and a conformed copy of an
    26  "Affidavit of Value." If an exception from taxation is claimed,
    27  either full or partial, the deed must be accompanied by an
    28  original and a conformed copy of an "Affidavit of Value" unless
    29  noted in the deed. The "Affidavit of Value" shall be fully
    30  completed. Where the property is located in two or more taxing

     1  authorities, the person recording the deed shall indicate
     2  thereon the value of the property in each taxing authority for
     3  local realty transfer tax purposes.
     4     Section 4.  (a)  The act of August 21, 1953 (P.L.1254,
     5  No.354), entitled, as amended, "An act establishing a uniform
     6  fee for services of recorders of deeds in counties of the second
     7  A, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth classes," is
     8  repealed.
     9     (b)  All other acts and parts of acts are repealed insofar as
    10  inconsistent with the provisions of this act.
    11     Section 5.  This act shall take effect immediately.
