AN ACT
1 Repealing the act of January 19, 1968 (1967 P.L.1024, No.449),
2 entitled "An act providing temporarily for the regulation and
3 licensing of rain-making activities; creating a Weather
4 Modification Board within the Department of Agriculture and
5 defining its powers and duties; imposing powers and duties on
6 the Department of Agriculture and certain other State
7 agencies; and providing penalties," and transferring certain
8 powers to the Department of Agriculture.
9 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
10 hereby enacts as follows:
11 Section 1. The act of January 19, 1968 (1967 P.L.1024,
12 No.449), entitled "An act providing temporarily for the
13 regulation and licensing of rain-making activities; creating a
14 Weather Modification Board within the Department of Agriculture
15 and defining its powers and duties; imposing powers and duties
16 on the Department of Agriculture and certain other State
17 agencies; and providing penalties," is repealed.
18 Section 2. All powers and duties heretofore imposed on the
19 Weather Modification Board under the act repealed are hereby
20 transferred to the Department of Agriculture.
1 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
