AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania College of
2 Optometry, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $863,000 is hereby specifically
6 appropriated to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry,
7 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for its fiscal period July 1, 1981
8 to June 30, 1982, for instruction.
9 Section 2. Payments to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry
10 on account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be
11 made by the Secretary of Education in equal quarterly payments.
12 Section 3. The college shall provide such information and in
13 such form and manner as the Department of Education may
14 prescribe.
15 Section 4. The Pennsylvania College of Optometry shall
16 report its revenues and expenditures and present its financial
17 statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting
1 principles and procedures for educational institutions as set
2 forth in the "Higher Education Finance Manual of 1975," without
3 exception.
4 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1981.
