        AS REPORTED FROM COMMITTEE ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT, HOUSE OF
           REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, JANUARY 27, 1982

                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing the Borough of Bridgeville, County of Allegheny, to
     2     convey a certain parcel of property located in Upper St.
     3     Clair Township, Allegheny County, free of the restrictions
     4     imposed by "Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act."

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  (A)  Pursuant to the requirements of subsection    <--
     8  (b) of section 20, act of June 22, 1964 (Sp.Sess. P.L.131,
     9  No.8), known as the "Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing
    10  Act," the General Assembly hereby authorizes the Borough of
    11  Bridgeville in Allegheny County to transfer the parcel of land
    12  described in section 2 to H. F. Behrhorst & Son, Inc. As          <--
    13  consideration for the authorization granted by this act, the
    14  Borough of Bridgeville shall utilize the $15,000 proceeds from
    15  the sale of this property for conversion of the former John
    16  Wight Jr. High School to a community center.
    17     (B)  SAID LAND SHALL BE FREE OF RESTRICTIONS ON USE AND        <--


     1  ALIENATION PRESCRIBED BY SECTION 20 OF THE ACT OF JUNE 22, 1964
     2  (SP.SESS., P.L.131, NO.8), KNOWN AS THE "PROJECT 70 LAND
     3  ACQUISITION AND BORROWING ACT": PROVIDED, THAT THE $15,000
     4  PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THE HEREIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY BE USED
     5  FOR THE CONVERSION OF THE FORMER JOHN WIGHT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
     6  FOR A COMMUNITY CENTER.
     7     Section 2.  The parcel of land authorized to be transferred
     8  FREE OF THE RESTRICTIONS ON USE AND ALIENATION pursuant to this   <--
     9  act is more particularly described as follows:
    10     All that certain piece or parcel of ground situate in the
    11  Township of Upper St. Clair, County of Allegheny and
    12  Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:
    13     On the south by Parcel No. 1 in a deed from Iron City Sash
    14  and Door Company to Allegheny County Industrial Development
    15  Authority dated January 11, 1972 and recorded in Deed Book
    16  Volume 5055, Page 84; on the east and north by Chartiers Creek
    17  as now located and on the west by the right-of-way of Penn
    18  Central Company (formerly Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago and
    19  St. Louis Railroad).
    20     Containing 1.49 acres, more or less.
    21     Section 3.  This act shall take effect immediately.
