AN ACT
1 Prohibiting municipalities from imposing certain quotas on
2 traffic tickets.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. No municipality shall have the power or authority
6 to order, mandate, require or in any other manner, directly or
7 indirectly, suggest to any police officer employed by such
8 municipality that said police officer shall issue a certain
9 number of traffic citations or tickets on any daily, weekly,
10 monthly, quarterly or yearly basis.
11 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
