AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for jury
3 selection commissions.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2122 of Title 42, act of November 25,
7 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes, is amended by adding a subsection to read:
9 § 2122. Composition of jury selection commissions.

11 (f) Counties where office of commissioner abolished.--Where
12 the office of jury commissioner has been abolished in a county,
13 the jury selection commission shall consist of the president
14 judge or his assigned replacement. He shall be authorized to
15 appoint two assistant jury selection commissioners who shall be
16 reimbursed at the rate of $50 per diem plus expenses incurred
17 for the performance of their duties.
18 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
